First step that you need to take to keep your blinds clean is regular dusting. You should vacuum clean your blinds once in a week at least.

These require special attention and should be subjected to deep cleaning like the blind should be wiped with damp clothes. Cords of the blinds which are used to open and close it should also be kept clean. If your cords are of metal they should be simply wiped with a damp cloth to keep them clean while if you have cloth cords, it is better to soak them in soap water.
